We’re offering you this recipe to encourage you to take care of yourself during the holiday season. All you have to do is adjust the recipe to suit your tastes and desires.

Holiday self-care recipe

Ingredients:

  • A large dose of kindness towards yourself
  • A dash of letting go
  • A pinch of gratitude for everything that’s going well
  • A handful of time for yourself (no matter how short, it counts!)
  • A few laughs or simple pleasures
  • A dose of support (to be shared without moderation with loved ones or available resources)
  • A little rest sprinkled with kindness

Instructions:

  1. Take the time to identify what makes you feel good.
  2. Mix each ingredient together with love and without guilt.
  3. Set it aside and savour every moment, even the simplest ones.
  4. Add a touch of the unexpected or creative: a hot coffee, a siesta, a walk, a good film, an activity you enjoy.
  5. If the recipe isn’t perfect, don’t worry. Adjust according to your tastes and needs.
