La Halte des proches
La Halte des Relatives offers help and support to loved ones of people with mental illnesses so that they feel less isolated. La Halte provides several services through different components such as "General", the "Youth" component, the "Parent Otherwise" component and the "Pair Caregiver Family" component in the form of individual, couple or family psychosocial interventions. La Halte des proches also offers support groups, psychoeducational programs, thematic workshops, conferences and respite activities. It educates, informs and sensitizes the population on the various aspects of mental illness, as well as the resources that are available in the community and also offers support when requesting a psychiatric assessment. The clientele served by this organization concerns members of the entourage aged 5 or older who are close to a person with mental illness. Among the territories served, we find the MRC Deux-Montagnes, MRC Mirabel, MRC Thérèse-De Blainville, MRC Laurentides, MRC Rivière-du-Nord, MRC Pays-d'en-Haut and MRC d'Argenteuil.
