The Société Alzheimer Côte-Nord alleviates the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer's disease and related conditions for the caregiver and the person affected. This organization, founded in 1995 by dedicated volunteers, supports biomedical and psychosocial research. The Alzheimer Society of the North Shore is there for people directly or indirectly affected by Alzheimer's disease and related diseases. The clientele served by this organization concerns people affected by Alzheimer's disease or other related disorders, as well as their loved ones. Among the territories served, we find the MRC of Golf-du-Saint-Laurent, the MRC of Sept-Rivières as well as the MRC of Manicouagan.
