Migraine Québec offers support and information throughout Québec to people suffering from migraine or headaches, and to those around them, to help them better manage their condition and break their isolation.
In concrete terms, the organization sets up self-help groups, and shares tools, testimonials and medical information. Migraine Québec is also committed to raising awareness amongst the general public and stakeholders of the unseen disease known as migraine.
Caregiver Support is there for all caregivers, throughout Québec. Whether you are looking for a consultation, information or referrals, our counsellors are available every day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This service is free and confidential.
There is a page on our website dedicated to the telephone helplines that caregivers can use throughout Québec.
June is National Migraine Awareness Month. The goal of the event is to raise awareness and develop a better understanding of this widespread yet largely underdiagnosed disease.
In 2023, for example, the short film La face cachée de la migraine (The hidden side of migraine) describes the “real burden that migraine represents for those affected.” It also highlights the fact that we all think we know what migraine is, and that this attitude tends to trivialize this debilitating disease.
